Service centre for SangYong

KOTA KINABALU: Competitive Supreme Sdn Bhd (CSSB) on Friday launched its Sales, Service and Parts (3S) centre, reflecting its commitment to provide long term services to further boost customer confidence in SsangYong vehicles in Sabah.

The 3S center for CSSB, which is the sole importer and distributor of the Korean-manufactured SsangYong vehicles in Malaysia, is located at Lot 2, Taman Industry Warisan Indah, Mile Seven, which is about two miles away from its showroom along Tuaran Road here.

According to CSSB Group Marketing and Communications Manager, Razman Kassim, the centre has everything that a customer would expect – a modern and fully-equipped workshop, ample parts storage area, a showroom area and a customer lounge.

“We are confident that our 3S Centre will enhance customer confidence in the SsangYong brand and that this will in turn boost sales of SsangYong vehicles in Sabah,” he said, adding it is among six regional 3S centres strategically located in the country.

“SsangYong is serious about further developing their business in Malaysia. CSSB had recently signed a Memoranda of Understanding with Automotive Manufacturers Malaysia Sdn Bhd to locally assemble SsangYong vehicles,” he said.

Production is expected to commence by the end of the year with the award-winning SsangYong Rexton SUV being the first to roll off the assembly line followed by other models such as the Stavic MPV and future models.

In conjunction, with the opening of the 3S center, all SsangYong customers in Sabah would be entitled to a free service of the vehicles inclusive of parts, labour and lubricants within three months. Also present were CSSB Operations Director, David Ngie and Sabah branch manager, Chia Yee Khoy.
